M-Sport has informed that "good old" Phil Mills wil replace Dan Barritt as co-driver for Elfyn Evans at Tour de Corse this coming weekend.

Barritt got a concussion after an outing in Rally Mexico, and has not recovered sufficently to take part in Corsica. Replacement Mills is best known for winning the WRC with Petter Solberg in 2003. His last WRC stage was in 2010, so he might be a bit rusty, but Mills has been a part of Evans safety note crew since 2013, so he is familiar with the pace note system they use.

Evans told wrc.com:

It won’t be easy without Dan, but his fitness comes first and it’s important that he has the time to make a full recovery for the rest of the season. Phil has stepped in, and I hope that we can push for a good result.
Phil certainly knows his stuff. Other than Dan, he knows my pace notes better than anyone and he’s certainly no stranger when it comes to winning rallies.
