It was my first time on a racing circuit; it is not something that has lifted up in me passions; in fact, I never see the races on television.

That day, however, we ended up on the circuit Ricardo Tormo of Valencia by invitation and nothing less than in the VIP Box.

We arrived early, around 09:00 and took the opportunity to have a coffee there and various pastries that they had prepared us.

The morning passed quietly, chatting and seeing from the window the Pole Position of the cars that would compete later to take the championship.

The first time we heard those engines live, we were impressed but the real roar of those machines was still to come later.

While the official race began, they announced by public address that Klaas Zwart, 67-year-old Dutchman, was going to try to beat the fastest lap record of the circuit with his Jaguar F1.

That day he did not get it, although he did offer us all a good piloting show.

It was the time of the main race of the Nascar and so the cheerleaders celebrated with their dance.

As I said at the beginning, I have never been a follower of the races, so I was unaware that in the Nascar, when the official race begins, there is a first round of warming wheels and that the real race starts with all the vehicles already launched and then accelerating thoroughly when passing through the finish line.

That is why the next video starts a little late but still, more than enough to appreciate the thunderous cluster of engines at thousands of revolutions.

With the official race already started, they began to take out trays of different cheeses, ham and even made us a good chicken and rabbit paella.

And while we ate and drank we still watched the race.

The truth is that we left there delighted that day; really enjoyed it.

I recommend trying the experience at least once in a lifetime.
