There's intolerance on all sides of the spectrum. Though the idea that we should aspire to "universal tolerance" of human behavior, no matter how deviant, is an obvious product of the somewhat fallacious dogma of moral relativism pushed by naive Marxists.
I say somewhat because there is limited validity to the idea that human behavior is molded and then judged by each disparate culture. However, there is also a universal level of morals akin to the inviolability of the laws of physics. Our inability to grasp said laws due to the limitations of intellect and perceptual faculties does not in any way dilute their universality. Therein lies the deception of the hyper-relativist ideology so beloved by many.
