Hello, Hivers!
I hope you're all having a great week.
Yesterday and today, I couldn't stop thinking about writing a script for a comic book. I wasn't sure if I should dive back into that world—I had one before that I never finished. The reason? I lost interest. And honestly, that's what happens when you don't stick to a script and keep adding new ideas until the original story becomes unrecognizable.
So this time, I'm doing things differently.
Meet my main character: Mr. John Michael — but he goes by "Mickey."
He's a 36-year-old detective with a dark secret: the longer he starves himself, the stronger he becomes. But his weakness is food—and a human can't survive without it. It's a curse wrapped in a power.
I've mapped out 12 issues of this story. I know the beginning, the middle, the twist, and the ending. No more flying blind. No more lost interest.
I'm sharing his character design sheets today—front, side, and back views. I'm still workshopping a title for the series (I'm terrible with names), so if you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them!
This is just the start. I'll be posting pages as I draw them.
Let me know what you think. Feedback, questions, or just a hello—all welcome.
Thanks for stopping by!
