Hello Ecencials, I trust you're all doing well.
It's been quite a while since I used the Ecency app, and even now, I still haven't been able to download it. My phone just won't accept the app—every time, it gets stuck on "Pending." The same thing happens with other apps too, so the issue is definitely with my phone. I guess I'm stuck using my browser for now, even though I find that a bit uncomfortable sometimes since my browser is slower.
I said I should share a little artwork from yesterday. I didn't think it was worth sharing, but I guess I'll post it anyway since it has nowhere else to go except my phone's recycle bin. Weird me 😂
This piece shows just the partial facial features of someone meditating on nature, having control over the mind as they breathe naturally.
Process
My favorite Android design app, Ibispaint X. This app makes creation easier and is simple to use, with no complex interfaces.
First, I started with the line art.
Next, I coloured the face.
Then, I blended in a darker colour to add variance and prevent it from looking entirely flat. Coloured the brows and eyelids
Finally, I moved on to the background and added the trees, clouds, sky, and ground.
