Crickets are not something rare here although this is the first one I'm seeing this year.
Trigonidium[1] is a large genus of sword-tail crickets, typical of the tribe Trigonidiini. Records of occurrence are from Europe, Africa, tropical Asia, Australia and the Pacific islands;[2] many species endemic to Pacific islands including Hawaii have now been placed in the genus Nudilla.

To me these guys are bunch of noisemakers that can't tell when someone is trying to sleep馃槀馃槀. There are some other cricket types of cricket under this genus, sword-tail crickets, winged bush crickets or trigs. I was eager to check this guy out to see if it belongs to the same division as the Sickle-bearing bushcricket from one of my blogs. @dreeyor/nature-s-magic-trick-that
