Yeah premarital sex is not new. hahaha.. rampant nowadays? hmmm maybe. I mean we went through the sexual revolution, and then kids were told to just do it, and protect themselves, so they could eliminate the consequences... and now we are in some weird era where anything and everything goes. LOL I mean - maybe the thing that's different now is how YOUNG they are having sex??? elementary school... BEFORE they can even GET pregnant. what in the hell.

but yes - I agree with you. the mother is always the mother. always.

but i will qualify that... the MOTHER.

We have a lot of "egg donor people" in this world that get pregnant and toss their kids aside. (I'm currently dealing with the beautiful child that came from a person who just gave him up for her own selfish desires. very very very sad. but then? a MOTHER came to the rescue!!! And now I get the privilege and blessing to be a part of that little boy's village! hehehe

There really is no way of conveying the severity of consequences for "kids" out there engaging in sex before they're ready. If we could go back and do it all over again - would we change anything? I think you adn I know the answer is no... but does that make it best? I mean... geez. lol how can we even say? right?

I can't imagine a world that is different than mine - and i'm sure you cant either.

The best thing we can do is teach our kids how precious it is to wait for the right time, and hope they do. If they don't - be right there for them and love them through it, every step of the way.

I guess my comment is more to your post hahaha I don't really have an answer to the question because ... hmmm I don't know. My answer would be "whatever was best for my child."

The second that I became a mother - that child took highest priority after God Himself.
