If he used the bot according to their guidelines, he should have been given a warning first. You know that having to post an apology letter is a black mark on any user's account. He is a sincere content creator that has never plagiarized - and actually spends a lot of his time making sure that others aren't plagiarizing. He deserved a warning and the respect to handle this quietly, and correct the action. He should be allowed to remove the warning. (though it can never be fully removed.)
