hahhaha oh it wasn't even difficult to give it up. You know - some addictions are really hard! hahaha It takes so much to release the holds that they have on your spirit! But i realized back on November of 2017 (wow. that's exactly 4 years now hahah) that it was NOT any addition at all. But rather just a habit. It became something that I was doing more from muscle memory of having my phone in my palm, and scrolling with my thumb. I realized that I wasn't even reading anymore. I was just waiting for something to ignite my brain into thinking - and I was looking in the WRONG place for that hehehe

I don't mind the happy photos - I actually was one of the people who REALLY DID post happy things LOL but also posted sad - also posted angry - also posted disappointed - also posted... any color on the emotional spectrum! hehehe which to me - meant that my happy photos or posts meant MORE. because it wasn't just the singular wash of smiles... you know?

there were nuances - and I used facebook as I do my life. open, genuine, inviting people in for that connection.

the sad part was that it was very hard to me to find anyone there to reciprocate that.

I"m not saying its not there... because clearly if you were there and I was there... LOL and dandays@dandays was there.... there WERE people there looking for the genuine thing!

But in a sea of billions - good luck finding each other hahahahaha

the thing I like about Hive is... it SEEMS to be a more concentrated collection of people like us :)

nineclaws@nineclaws is another one - if you haven't met her! oh i could name so many hahahaha i shouldn't start - because people will feel left out!

but here - has many problems also. hahahaha I think many people are starting to see the old familiar wars of Steemit (our predecessor/legacy chain lol)rear their heads here.

too many want to engage in that now. (in my opinion) the best way to battle against the negativity (also in my opinion) is to link arms with more people who want peace.

so i guess we will wait, and watch and find out what happens over time :)

would be a shame if we lost this very unique opportunity provided by this platform. (because we certainly aren't going back to Facebook! hahahaha)

Hope you're having a beautiful day!!! :)
