Building, Together

I knew this month's collaboration would be special, but it has been even more so than I dreemed. I know the focus is on the post, as the "thing" that we are bringing to the stage, and it will come - and it will be great! But, I'm honestly not sure for me if the post will outshine the experience. It's just that the post will get pinned, and the memory of what created the post will have to stay tucked away in my grey matter. hehe

As leaders, both @alessandrawhite and I have had to coach and guide and plan with @shadowspub for the best way to approach this collaboration and the smoothest way to unite our groups. So in a way, it is a little bit difficult to just simply enjoy. We're watching the chat, or the clock, or taking attendance, or giving prizes or tagging people- and it's the little things that keep pulling us into "admin mode" that prevent us from completely melting into the groove. But did it stop me from finding those moments of bliss? Nope. The time in Creative Work Hour gently tugs me into these brief interludes of calm, and I love each time I get to be there!

Truth be told, I write because I enjoy it. I love saying what's on my heart. I find delving into the profound in my prose to be an enjoyable experience. When it's time to write well, I don't find it a chore to make it pin-worthy. So did I need this month for the writing aspect? No, I don't think I did. But did I need it for the time set aside to have space to think... breathe... relax... flow? Yes, I think we all did. I think we all do. I hope we all continue.

Building together for this month has been an absolute joy. I'm anticipating some special posts coming out of this challenge, but what I hope is that this month has instilled a new appreciation for the process of taking time to marinate in our thoughts before jumping to the keyboard. In total, this collaboration has not just been the seeds of sweet connection, but the start of some newly formed friendships that will hopefully sprout and produce delicious fruits for more to enjoy!
