Perfection.
That's how I would describe everything from the unbelievably gorgeous ride down to NC through the Appalachian and Blue Ridge mountains, to the summer weather and blue skies providing photo happy moms like myself with amazing backdrops to work with.
We began our picture taking frenzy on the road in front of my friend's house with the joyously happy couple and their merry band of mates.
But it didn't stop there, oh no.
My prom pictures, many moons ago consisted of a few shots in the front yard...and usually the simplicity of those days appeals, but for this I was down for some over indulgence..
Did someone say covered bridge? Hell yeah, let's go!
I mean, come on, this is a photographer's fantasy.
And I have to say, they did really well with the professional posing...
...I mean, look at them, all arranged and pleasant...
Then Ethan pulled a random elderly couple off the path and convinced them to be stand in grandparents,
and they couldn't contain their goofy glee any longer...
...or at least he couldn't XD
And thank God for that, because as beautiful as those pictures are, they lack a certain character that can only be found in dropping the facade.
If you're thinking to yourself Jesus, Overboard Much? Yep, I fully accept we went overboard.
But when you get a day like this, one of those moments in time when everything is joyous, puppies and unicorns pooping out rainbows, you gotta grab hold and stretch it out as long as you can!
And man, did we ever, haha!
We left the covered bridge location and headed to downtown where the giddiness continued...

But we only live once right? And these pictures are just Wow, wow worth it!
Finally they were ready to go, and of course we captured that too! XD
Three. That's how many pics the kids sent us from the actual prom, hahaha, I think they may have been a little bit Camara-ed out.
I have no idea, don't wanna know, I'll just assume a sober good time involving a pool 馃ぃ
