1996 science fiction film Star Hunter is set in Los Angeles where the bus with group of high school students makes a wrong turn and ends in a place which happens to be designated hunting ground of a vicious alien. Directors Cole S. McKay and Fred Olen Ray don’t hide that they took Predator as a template not only for the basic plot, but also for the design of alien. Lack of imagination is followed by lack of budget and, more importantly, complete lack of talent, and that includes even otherwise respecte Hollywood veterans like Roddy McDowall and Stella Stevens as part of the cast. Star Hunter is a complete waste of time.
