#moviesonleo #tvonleo #review #linkincomments Netflix's The Witcher adapts Andrzej Sapkowski's fantasy novels into an episodic first season featuring Henry Cavill as monster-hunter Geralt, with a non-linear plot structure based on short stories rather than the more popular video games. While technically competent with strong performances from Cavill and Anya Chalotra, it lacks the visual grandeur of Game of Thrones but establishes a solid foundation for the series to build upon.
