I'm back and today, it's pretty obvious that I'm a big fan of marvel. Especially spiderman. I mean, what not to love about our friendly neighborhood spiderman? He's funny, he is somehow relatable and overall a fun character. He is with Deadpool and Venom in the first spot on my favorite fictional characters. So I drew Spiderman and Spider Gwen

This was created using a 300 gsm Vellum Board and H, Hb, 2b, 4b and 7b graphite pencils

So first I sketched Spidey.

Then I sketched Spider Gwen.

Then I added the web patterns on Spidey's costume.

And then I added the web patterns on Spider Gwen's hood and also added the outlines for the shadows.

And then I coloured (I'll be referring to it being black and white to "coloured so I don't go out of my own context) the inside of her hood.

And after that, I did the shadows and shade on her face and the outside of the hood.

Then as you know, I outlined her and her eyes. Added that kind of eyelash look on her costume.

Then I plotted the said shadows on Spiderman. It looks a lot crude that it should be but it'll all come together nicely later on.

And I tapped it with a bit of water to mix it up and also give it a smoother look.

So that's basically it. This turned out better that I thought it would be. Since this is my first black and white sketch cause I was used to colouring what I draw so this is a good way of going out of context and trying new stuff. The hard part about this is that I tried to copy what the picture exactly looked like. Obviously you can't draw a perfect copy in one try so this is a pretty good try if I'm being honest.
