AI is coming at a rate of Knots, and it's going to do a demolition job on 'white-collar' jobs, it's happening already and only going to get worse. The IT industry in India which was traditionally a hub for cheap computer grunt work labour has been smashed in the last 12 months. Tens of thousands of Job roles evaporated, Engineers replaced with AI Agents that don't sleep. Can't comment on Africa but eventually the trend will catch up everywhere, money talks.

Working Remote is awesome, being able to balance life around work or for some balance work around life but the bell is gonna be ring at some point and time is gonna be called. If you're not already trying to work out how you either become a AI wielding expert or make whatever service your provide something that AI can't replicate you should probably get underway with that!
