steem.supply traffic is growing steadily and one of my favorite monthly tasks is to look into the top 10 countries and top 10 cities which are consuming it, as they are supplied by Google Analytics.
Top 10 Countries
As you would expect, US is still dominating the countries landscape, but the following 5 places are taken by African or Asian countries. Interestingly enough, the combined size of all these 5 countries is barely higher (with only 1%) than the entire traffic from US.
It's only from the 7th position that we start to see again European or South American countries again. UK and Germany are the last in the top 10 platoon, while Canada and Venezuela are head to head just before them. I don't see Romania in this top, but I see Bucharest in the top 10 cities, below.
Canada and Germany don't have any city in top 10.
Top 10 Cities
Apart from seeing Bucharest again in top 10 cities (probably me testing the app counts a lot here) I see two interesting newcomers:
- Philadelphia - what's with this new entry? I'm a bit intrigued...
- Baguio, a second city from Philippines, Steemit seems to get a lot of traction there
The only European main city is London (but with Brexit, we may hardly call UK European) if we don't count Bucharest.
I know that steem.supply stats are probably decoupled from steemit.com stats, but I guess we can still infer some trends from them.
