On mobile, try going to Settings -> General and play with these settings:
-> Currency Conversion (pick USD)
-> Primary Currency (pick fiat)

I don't guarantee that this will work, because it looks like for some transactions it works, for some not. Also, make sure to set up the gas fee very low, to 10, for every transaction, it doesn't seem to remember this setting, at least not in my setup.
