What makes Valentines day special to you? Is it the love in the air, that special things that have been done for you, that really cute guy or girl that you spent the day with... OR is it the CHOCOLATE!?
Since it is now the day after the great and happy day of Valentines day (happy for most of us), all the love in the air is pretty much gone and life goes on. The chocolates have been eaten the gifts are all opened and for those lonely people (My people) all that ice cream and other good food in the fridge is all eaten up. The tissue boxes are empty and every sad movie has been watched.
Yes the day after Valentines day is sad and normal again... for the most part of it, but I call this day, yes the 15th of February chocolate day. All those amazing valentines chocolates are now half price and for us sad and lonely people that extra chocolate goes a long way and a short way. A very short way to the hips as tomorrow we will see the difference, but a long way emotionally as it soothes our mood and comforts our fragile heart.
Thank goodness chocolate is here to fix it all. I have no idea what magic is in chocolate but that stuff is good and it can make even the grumpiest of people smile.
So happy chocolate day everybody
