After watching this video I was brought to tears... I was going to write a long post to share my thoughts, but this video is so touching and has reminded me of a time similar and lessons I was taught when I was younger.
We will never know what another person is going through and how we can touch them changing their lives for the better.
Summary of the video
I just had to watch this video again.
2 boys were walking down a road, one older than the other, alongside a field. On the side of this road they found old clothing and worn shoes belonging to a person working, a distance away, in the field. The younger of the 2 suggested that they hide the clothing and shoes and hide themselves to see the reaction of the man when he came back to his things.
The older thought that it would be a bad idea as, when looking upon the items, noticed that they were very worn out and the man must be a very poor man, after talking a bit about the issue they decided to put money in each shoe then hide and see the reaction the man gives once he finds the money.
After a while the man came back to his things and started to put them on. Feeling something different in his shoe he pulled it off to find the money inside the one shoe. He was surprised and looked around to see if there was anyone. He put on the other shoe... his emotions overcame him. His wife had been sick and helpless and his children without food to eat.
The boys still hid while waiting for the man to leave, they had been touched and had a warm feeling inside.
When walking back down the road the one said, "don't you have a good feeling?"
