You can never run away from this... sad but true, we often struggle to make good big choices, are all choices good?

I have been thinking a lot about choice lately and even more so, on the consequences of choice. Ultimately our choices determine our destiny.

We all know the story of Alice in Wonderland, she comes to a road that splits off into different paths, not knowing which way to go or what path she should take. The Cheshire Cat appears, she then proceeds to ask him which way she should go.

The cat answers her saying, “That depends on where you want to go. If you do not know where you want to go, it doesn’t matter which path you take.”

Often we come to these crossroads, do we know where we want to go? Knowing what you want your destiny or future to be is key when making big decisions.

Often we make bad decisions based on what we feel is right, with little to no thought on how this can impact our future.

Where does your value lie? Looking and this one can see that some people base decisions on what they value. If you value family and good things your decisions will tend to lead you to them, if you don't value them your path will be different.

I don't believe that all decisions are bad, one needs to fail (a few times) to truly succeed. All good things were not perfected on the first try.

No one can force you to make a choice, you are your own person and you are responsible for the choices you make. The consequences that follow the choice you have made can not be changed or chosen.

Every choice has its consequences, some good some bad, so next time instead of basing your choice on the options base your choice on the outcomes and consequences.
