Welcome to the Splinterlands weekly report for the #oneup @cartel-monster account. This is a weekly report where I detail the progress we have made on the account. It goes over what tournaments we played in as well as how we did in ranked and how much we earned for the week.

We finished this week netting 3778 total DEC which is down from our average of 4k a week. This week felt like the DEC rewards were a lot lower as we were only gaining 20 DEC on average per win and then a little more when we went on win streaks.

The reward chests however were very kind to us this week snagging two legendary cards a Djinn Oshannus and A Djinn Bljika. Out overall chest reward value for the week was $11.794 which is a very good week in terms of net gain. Also continuously adding to the collection for the cartel
adding 26 total reward cards.

Djinn Oshannus is one of the best water cards there is. He is a staple of most water teams and wrecks havoc with his high speed and phase at later levels. It wasn't long ago he was valued at 50$ and in the future, he will be worth much more than that. Snagging this monster up in a reward chest is always a nice sight to behold. Starting out 5 speed and having void is a huge benefit but once he gets phase, which is the ability that lets you dodge magic and then forcefield which nullifies damage above 5+ to just 1 he becomes an ultimate tank. Look for his value to go back up in the coming months and if you are lucky enough to pull one of him consider it a long time HODL.

We also pulled another copy of this guy Djinn Biljka who has been seeing some more play recently with Obsidian coming into the game. A very good earth magic card getting the camouflage ability which prevents him from being taken out by a sneak or a snipe monster. At later levels, he gains void helping him if he hits a monster with magic reflect and then getting really good at level 3 picking up weaken. Another card that has seen a huge drop in value with all the cards hitting the market lately but another one to keep an eye on going forward.

This week we didn't play in too many tournaments but the ones we did we placed pretty well gaining a total of 250 SPS off of 55 SPS buy-in between the two of them. The two tourneys we played in were the Alpha Lords-Gold Foil Bronze and The Golden Rule-Silver.

The competition in these tourneys is very hard though being exclusive to only a few players in the game that can join them due to staking and power requirements. You see a lot of the top players in the game participating in these so being able to compete for the top spots is very hard unless you have been in the game for a long time and have a lot of the gold foil cards.

These are amazing tourneys if you can play in them. Not everybody can afford to get in them as they require a lot of SPS staked and a lot of power needed to join them. They are gold foil only tourneys so if you don't have a massive collection of gold foils they will be tough to get into. As you can see only 30 players got to play in this one so it was literally a free 50 SPS.

This is pretty much the same as the one above just with silver limits instead and boasting a better reward pool. Just like the other tourney only 60 registered for this one so again free SPS for just being able to enter these tourneys.
