I am a big fan of conspiracy theories though I am not a big believer in them, really I just find it interesting to see the ideas people come up with and how they rationalize things. There are a lot of theories you can tell straight of that bat are just fiction but then there are some that are hard to disprove or prove and a small portion that turn out to be true. I am going to be posting a series of blogs discussing a range of theories and sharing my opinion on them.
There is a wide variety of conspiracies surrounding the area, they mostly follow the idea of the destruction being an inside job with the most common accusations being aimed at George Bush and the american government. This also gets tied into the whole jet fuel can't melt steel beams fiasco.
For the theory of explosives being planted throughout the towers, I personally don't believe it, yes jet fuel can't melt steel beams but it can however heat them up so that they become very malleable and then bend and break. There are also videos of windows blowing out that some people say look in sequence like a trail of explosives however I think it wasn't planted explosives but rather due to machines being set on fire and blowing up and just from the intense heat.
It was an inside job
Now the inside job argument is where things really get questionable. It is sad to say that from where I stand it looks like america is always looking for a new conflict to get into, for the usual reasons of control, wealth and power.
If we look at examples in recent history of the Vietnam and many wars throughout the middle east we can see that the american government and more specifically a group of influential people are willing to go through great lengths to gain money, control and influence.
In times of great fear studies show that people are more willing to give up more of their rights so that they can be protected and it is no secret that people that produce objects of war make vast amounts of money during war times.
Now I do think to an extent this could have been an inside job however not in the way people think, the general theory behind this being an inside job is that a group of powerful people came together and planned exactly what was going to take place down to enough detail where they have entire building expertly rigged to blow up at a specific time and how they would hide it through whatever method.
I think it very well could have been an inside job in a less organized way. There are many people globally that sat to benefit from the fallout of an attack like this taking place, so what I think is a series of overlapping events took place with 9/11 being the outcome. As for specific times and dates I couldn't tell you a thing however what I think happened is something along the lines of:
Larry Silverstein or someone close to him influenced him to take out terrorism insurance on the towers due to the heightened state of conflict with the middle east, al-Qaeda and other terrorist organisations, during this time said person could have talked to a large weapons manufacturer and implied that if something was to happen to the world trade center it would set off the last spark needed to start enough complex political conflicts that they could stand to make a lot of money while still going under the radar due to so much else going on at the time.
I think something along those lines happened, likely with a lot more people involved with a lot of smaller events all coming together over time to cause what happened.
