This is the Opuk Nature Reserve in Ukraine, on the Crimean Peninsula. The Black Sea — a steppe zone of Crimea. It’s a stunningly beautiful place. I used to visit it often. You could say these photos are a form of nostalgia for that land.

Unfortunately, I can no longer go there or take more shots of that unique place. Sadly, a brutal war has begun...
