Good morning my wonderful people. Its Monday over here and its gonna be a great day to us all. Wishing us all(including myself) an amazing week.
Woke up this with a blank mind and wondering what am gonna share with us on pobtalk, well i guess i have never thought of how names of the days of the week or month of the year was made up. Was it actually droped by someone or through a scientific process. Am tempted right now to use Google but know. I want us to find out and drop it here. Pick a day or a month just one, it will help us all. Thank you.
Since today monday in my own end here, am gonna pick monday.
Despite being the dreaded start of the work and school week, Monday is actually the second day of the week. Monday gets its name from the Anglo-Saxon word "mondandaeg" which translates to "the moon’s day." The second day of the week in Nordic cultures was devoted to worshipping the goddess of the moon. Girls born on Mondays were given the name Mona in Ancient Britain, as it was the Old English word for moon.

Well now i know that monday was drived from moon and its worship. Waoo this is really good to know.
