I went for a sunset skate tonight and went west underneath the interstate to try to find a decent vantage point to take some pictures. It was an interesting adventure, to say the least, yet I didn't find anywhere too elevated to take pictures from. Too bad there are not ladders on the sides of buildings, although that would be a terrible idea generally. Lol!
I found a really nice hill right past the highest elevation I could find and cruised down it. The only bad thing about street skating is that there are entire large areas that are extremely rough, riddled with pebbles and other debris, have huge cracks and other obstacles, etc. I have come to view that as par the course, though. I hope to learn how to ollie this year but I'd like to find a good teacher to help me out. Not in any kind of rush because I'd rather learn slow than get myself wrecked like I have in the past.
