What is HiveLand?

HiveLand is a platform for Hive Engine tokens and existing Dapps in the Hive ecosystem that is being developed by me (@doze), @cryptosimplify and @ptmaker with the help of @foxon and @forykw as consultants on technical issues related to the Hive Engine data node.

HiveLand platform wants to be a “Coingecko” style platform, plus “DappRadar”, focused exclusively on Hive.

We all know that there are a lot of tokens in our ecosystem, at the moment there are more than 600, and that they have different purposes, from miners to utility tokens.
However, there is currently no platform where Hive users can consult the “type” of token or see the price history over time or even see detailed information about the token project. We also know that platforms like CoinMarketCap and Coingecko don't list existing hive-engine tokens.
All this led us to decide to go ahead with the HiveLand project.

HiveLand objective

The objective of HiveLand is to become the main platform where everyone can search for information about the tokens in our ecosystem, from the type of token, to a description about it, social networks related to the project, price history, among others.

Over time we want to expand the type of information displayed on the platform, having an interface where Hive users can see the daily evolution of RC Cost on Hive is just one of many examples.

Work already done

We've already made a beta release with 9 Hive Tokens that you can visit at hiveland.live to get feedback from the Hive community on the usability of the platform.
We also implemented the functionality that allows to see the tokens last price take in consideration our own node.

Commitments

We commit to make all the code produced through this funding open-source.
We commit to post weekly on the progress made during the previous week.
Hiveland will be developed with or without proposal funding

Request for Funding

To be able to have up to date and accessible data we are running our own hive-engine node and database on a server , one more server might be needed to improve performance.

DHF Funding will be used to pay for servers, servers maintenance and upgrade, development and design work to finalize project's phase A.
For new features after phase A we will look for some sort of sponsoring like marketing or advertising.

Backup Server (6 vCPU Core/ 16 GB RAM/ 100 GB NVMe/ automatic backup (2T space))
Development, Setups & Maintenance – 40,000$
Unpredictable Costs & Other Tools, possible to implement, suggested by community - 5,000$

Considering the info mentioned above, we are asking for 150 HBD per day.
