There are sometimes things I would rather not comment on. But on the other hand sometimes it is necessary to speak out.

Like most people, I receive information from many sources including mass media and expect that what I read or watch will be based on true. Sometimes everyone can make a mistake or misinterpret events, as we know even during editing by changing some pieces the whole meaning could be distorted unintentionally and it is understandable, but what we are not expecting is being openly and officially lied to.

In this modern era we come too close to the line when the credibility of the media rouses concerns. Even Elon Musk may actually be making a website to rate journalists for credibility and 'core truth'. Initially Musk wanted to buy domain pravda.com (pravda=truth in Russian after the old Soviet newspaper). Because the domain already belongs to Ukraine, he bought another one pravduh.com It will be interesting to watch how his project develops. Maybe projects like that could offer the solution before this particular Pandora’s Box is opened for real.

So yes, it was very disappointing to when 43 million Ukrainians were told that a Russian journalist working in Ukraine was assassinated. And this turned out to be totally untrue. Ukraine’s government just faked a journalist’s death. Will it be worth the cost? Washington Post article summs up it all. It is never worth the cost to lie to the public.
