Luke 12: 29-31
You, therefore, do not worry about what you will eat, nor about what you will drink, nor will you be anxious about it.
Because all these things seek the people of the world; but your Father knows that you need these things.
But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you.
Nobody can destroy what God has built and God builds us day by day through his word. For this reason Jesus tells us in the text that we have quoted that we do not worry about what you have to eat or what you have to drink, urges us to trust Him fully in His word and promises and advises us not to be like Him. world that only seeks to satisfy the basic needs of sustenance without taking into account spiritual needs.
God knows our needs and has promised to supply each of them only that He advises us to seek first the kingdom of God and his justice and the other things will come in addition.
Our God is so wonderful that he looks for the propitious way so that his children can trust Him and uses everyday examples as well as the birds so that we are not afraid, because he tells us that if He takes care of the birds and feeds them without leaving one of them how much more us that takes care of us more than the birds.
We have to learn to depend on God and to put aside fear. It is known that fear is an innate feeling of the human being and we have concerns for ourselves our loved ones, we have concern for their future but we must have faith in their promises, we must learn to develop our faith and security in God to be able to receive their promises
Remember that He has given us many examples so that we trust Him.
The word of God teaches us in the book of Hebrews 13: 5-6
"Let your habits be without avarice, content with what you have now, for he said: I will not forsake you, nor will I leave you;
so that we can confidently say:
The Lord is my helper; I will not fear
What can man do to me? "
This is our confidence, let's trust Him because He has the best plans for us. He is our helper and our sustenance.
