Twas a dark, ominous night when I was scrolling the rabbit hole of google. I usually spend my time seeking out information on an upcoming game called Ember Sword. A blockchain game due out in 2022. In a turn of events I see a list of top 10 play 2 earn games of 2021. Upon clicking the link little did I know that Option #4 Splinterlands would change my life forever. I decided to take a look into the google play link and quickly installed, waited patiently, then booted up. I spent an easy 50 matches just testing the game and knew I had to get a Spellbook. I had to have cards of my own. I HAD TO WIN!!! So here I am after a days worth of server maintenance, after I had heard I could accrue SPS via posting blogs on this website. I think I'd like to document my day to day experiences with the game. So Ill be turning to this blog daily to let you guys know how my adventure turns out.
As a player Im not in it for the "investment" so to speak. Dont get me wrong, this game has multiple pathways of revenue, if you maximize your efforts it would seem. But I genuinely like the game and its balances. Theres not many "Newbie" friendly guilds judging by the Discord channel. Id like to make one of my goals to open a beginner oriented guild. Dont know yet, its all open doors from here.
