I also consider myself to be a music freak therefore picking one singer and calling it my favorite is really hard for me. I will pick one of the artists that I have been listening the most lately and talk about him: Mac Miller.

I wont lie, I discovered Mac´s music right after he passed away (RIP Mac) and I instantly felt like I was missing out. His amazing talent is pretty obvious even in his early mixtapes when he was just a kid. K.I.D.S ("Kickin' Incredibly Dope Shit") was released in 2010 when Mac was only 18 years old. Another legend that leaves us way too early, not even making it to the 27 club.

But lets not get too sentimental with his death and talk about what is very alive: his music. I am not a huge fan of rap music, to be honest I started listening to rap recently... maybe in the last 3-4 years. But theres something about Macs style that makes it for me. His melodies, his voice, the speed at what he sings (I can actually understand what he says, other rappers just babble).

He often mentions Pittsburgh in his songs, his beloved city is always present and he always showed himself grateful of his crew from there. He was really close with Wiz Khalifa who is also from Pittsburgh.

His lyrics are sentimental, he opens up like a true man, without any kind of fear, and it takes balls to do that when you are a public person. If you pay attention to his last albums, there are hints of the struggle he was going through. Drug abuse, depression... it all lead to the worse. But we still have his legacy, some amazing music that will keep him alive in our hearts when we press play and dance to his beats.
