I have recently discovered the platform Dmania and I'm in love with it. I'd rather spend my free time on a platform that rewards its users for memes, funny gifs and pics rather than a popular one that doesn't acknowledge their right to anything.

However, I found that everytime I open the hot section in Dmania, the same posts are on the top. Sometimes, you check the page later and the same posts are there but in a different order. You will see a new post once in awhile but it's not really pleasant having to scroll down and see the same memes over and over to get to the new ones.

My suggestion to @dmania and @zombee:

I think new users would like to see fresh content every time they open Dmania. You want them to be hooked to the platform not just amazed by the reward system.

I suggest that once a post makes it to the HOT section, it should be fixed and any new post added later will go on top regardless of their $reward or upvote count. There could be one pinned post maximum for the top post of the day, the rest should go in a chronological order of reaching HOT

For example this is the current top posts in the hot page:

This order should be the same when we check them after 1 day, and new HOT posts would go above.

The advantages:

1. Better experience for Dmania users
2. Give opportunity for new posts to get exposure.
3. True competition with other meme platforms

The disadvantages:

1. Less user competition once their post reaches HOT
2. Dmania users will be less likely to check Trending and New sections.
3. Requires new coding and algorithm
