Well, truth be told, I do feel some degree of resent towards the steem community whenever my contents are not well appreciated or appreciated at all especially when I took my time to think, scribble down thoughts type it and post it. it even gets worse when it goes on consecutively for days in a roll.
When I say not well appreciated it simply means I didn't get enough votes just enough for a decent pay out or didn't get any votes at all. Appreciation on the steem community is measured by the amount of up votes you get and it's payout worth.
As a normal human being with feelings, It is only normal for me to get moody, pissed off, angry and ultimately resent the community. At times I just muttter to myself that I won't post any answers, articles or write up again but I still eventually stay glued to the steem community because I find consolation in the fact that I am not the only one in the steem community and it'll only be selfish of me to expect all my contents to be well appreciated by everyone and get massive upvotes. Furthermore, I also take consolation in the fact that the steem community is made up of diverse people with diverse personalities and opinion so what makes sense to me might not necessarily make sense to others and our interests, viewpoints and opinions are diverse.
Conclusively, it's normal for anyone to resent the steem community whenever they don't feel appreciated or well appreciated but that resentment should be the force that spurs them into writing more meaningful and creative contents that grabs the attention of the readers and the whales in the steem community
