Firstly, a good leader is quite different from a boss. In light this, the qualities I'd be sharing would be that of a good leader and not a boss

The first quality of a good leader is that he/she must be a good follower. This simply means that if one must lead, one must first learn to follow. This and other qualities I'd be mentioning makes a good leader.

There are several others numerous traits a leader must posses before he/she can be identified as a good and spectacular leader. These traits are, but not limited to:

1. Patience: this is one of the major skills/traits a good leader must posses before he/she can be identified as one. A good leader must be patient at all times even in dealing with the non challant and lackadaisical attitude of subordinates.

2. Perseverance: a good leader must be able to persevere in times of difficulty. A good leader does not accept defeat nor take no for am answer. He/She gets back up after every downfall and strives to be better than before.

3. Team Player: a good leader must be a good follower. He/she must be able to work hand in hand with his/her subordinates without being domineering. A good leader motivates his/her subordinates and does not kill their morale.

4. Goal getter: a good leader is a goal getter. He/She sets priorities and have stated aim and goals which must be achieved by all means.

5. Humility: in relating with his/her subordinates or team, a good leader must be humble and down to earth. He /She must not be a segregator or a dominator. A good leader is quite different from a boss. A good leader must be humble to a fault.

6. Honesty and Truthfulness: a good leader must be honest and truthful because without this traits he/she won't be trusted.

7. Trustworthy: a good leader must posses a trait of trustworthiness. Surbodinates should be able to trust their leader with their thoughts, opinions, and even secrets without any fear of been let down and intimidated.

Other traits of a good leader includes good communication skills, analytical thinking, human relationship skills, interpersonal relationship skills, must not be domineering, must have a listening ear. Etc
