In the first instance, I'd like to correct an impression. Age is not a major determinant of maturity but it's all dependent on the yardstickused in your community.

There is no particular age that is compulsory for a man or woman to leave his/her parent's home and be alone.

But when the individual in question sees that he/she is matured enough to live alone then the person can leave his/her parents.

This is also dependent again on the type of family living in place in that community weather it's patrilocal, virilocal or uzorilocal
