This is a foregone conclusion - Daniel Sturridge will perform in Trabzonspor.
The English striker signed a contract valid until June 30, 2021 with the option to extend for another 12 months. In the Turkish club, to which he moved on a free transfer basis, he will be able to count on a basic salary of € 1.5 million per season. The 29-year-old will also get € 2 million for the signature alone.
Sturridge has been associated with Liverpool for the past 6.5 years. He played 160 matches in the "The Reds" jersey, noting 68 goals and 26 assists. At the end of the adventure with the team from Anfield, the attacker triumphed with him in the Champions League.
Earlier Sturridge was a Manchester City and Chelsea player, and also played on loan at Bolton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion. In total, he has 218 appearances and 77 goals in the Premier League.
Due to the expired contract with Liverpool, Sturridge aroused the interest of many clubs. The striker chose Trabzonspor - the 4th team of the previous season of the Turkish league.
