... the election victory follows more than a year of significant protests and battles by farmers who have engaged in dramatic moments and fierce resistance to the government's repressive apparatus: we have all seen the roadblocks of tractors as they were hit by tear gas or the long lines of agricultural vehicles that flowed to the protests, but in the end it was possible to put a stop to an insane program or perhaps to eliminate it completely given that the polls show the Civic Farmer Movement in the lead.
We must not forget that the government buildings have been buried by tons of "fertilizer" for months, which was the first form of protest. I liked that one.
