We all have some kind of truth behind us we like to believe in. It was when I was still in high school. My mum’s uncle, I will not mention any names, but he was priest and he was pretty high ranked. But, I never had any kind of fear, but more like respect in a way, even if he was mysterious in a way and he always talked in codes, sort of. Anyway, at the end of his days, of his life, he was in hospital and I took care of him, every week, same day, and same time. I could see him getting worse and older every time I visited him. I felt sorry for him, but at the same time I always felt that ‘ying-yang’ feeling every time. There is no fear for nothing, just a small and short movies in my head, like he was putting some kind of knowledge in my head. The last day I saw that man alive was the next week, same day (Thursday), same time (5:00 pm). And that day I bought him a small candy bar he liked a lot (Bueno). Then he grabbed my hand and told me he will not need it anymore and told me to sit down. He started conversation with me. The only thing I will mention from conversation is that the life is a short manner of things. Nothing in life is too much or too less. There is no such a thing. There is no fear of light or of the darkness. You live with both. Everyone does and will. He said to me you really start to feel sorry when one side is actually at the end start to overcome. Then you see short movies and regret for many moments. That’s why my son, he said, do not live in the past, time is just a fact u hardly can change. Present is valuable gift everyone has. Future is product of your smile or sadness. Day after, he died. I cried, but only my eyes were glossy and tears were coming out with almost no face expression. I felt my best at that time. Why? Because I knew I understood what many will not. I helped my family, I took care. And I got wisdom in return. From that point on I never took care of material anymore. I was safe, I knew it. And I bet he knew that as well. He had dose of respect as well..
