This activity is just simply what steemit is. An esoteric game to rape the reward pool. The "real" content isn't worth $1000 per post either. Not a huge difference if 90% of the reward is bullshit

the major flaw seems to be forcing every user to "tip" proportional to their stake. If "gifting" was voluntary rewards would be kept in line with the actual value of the content and
