I wonder why cryptocurrencies still can't seem to break into the mainstream adoption. There are still very few merchants that accept crypto payments by intergrating Payment APIs like that of Changenow, and most financial services continue to be settled in fiat currencies. I personally believe it's due to 2 reasons.

1. They don't want their greedy system to be disrupted
2. They still believe cryptocurrency is a flash in the pan
