The Whitehouse (WH) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) should never have intervened in the whistle-blower complaint process. The statute requires that the Inspector General (IG) turn the complaint over to Congress within 7 days. The law gives the President and the DOJ no role in this process. Now, in violation of the law, the Attorney General and Trump have engaged in a blatant Obstruction of Justice. 1st Trump said Wednesday, then Thursday then by the end of the week. It would take one hour for a courier to deliver the already late complaint to Congress. The only possible reason for delay is redact the complaint to sanitize out the President's crimes and wrongdoing.

The whistle-blower has now announced through his/her attorney they will testify before Congress. The crimes and abuses of Richard Nixon pale in comparison to Donald Trump's wrongdoing. And I doubt we yet know all of his misdeeds. Impeachment must move forward swiftly. All of the nation, including the GOP, better pray this corrupt moron does not survive this and succeed to a 2nd term.
