When I was posting during the Steemit days, I would post an occasional wrestling piece and it would gather the response of a few people. Yesterday, I wanted to give Reckoning a pop, but I feel that there was no audience on this platform. Granted, it could have been the weather! Therefore, I decided to do a search on Hive for wrestling blogs and it appears that the ones that did come up were really old. I remember corresponding with a few of them. I don't understand how a place that shows interest in comics, movies and music doesn't attract the wrestling aficionado. I realize that it takes a certain type of person to appreciate the art of pro wrestling but I know they are out there!
There are no local or national wrestling events to attend due to COVID-19, so all we really have are televised events. And the ratings prove that people are watching them! Don't get me wrong, I love to talk about comics, movies and music, however, pro wrestling can lead to some very interesting conversations as well. I am not just talking about the whole "fake" argument thing. I have seen many fans offer predictions as to what the individual promotions are going to do next! The performers are actors, as well as athletes. Vince McMahon didn't coin it as "sports entertainment" for nothing.
If you are out there and would like to talk or read about wrestling, let me know. If you are reading this on my Facebook page and like to communicate a little wrestling knowledge, then join Hive for free by logging on to https://hive.blog. In addition, you can earn some Hive dollars. As a matter of fact, even if you are into other topics, sign up as well. We can use different voices!
Okay, so I put a little commercial in there! But seriously, where can you attend a fighting exhibition where one of the competitors can look like the guy in my photo?
