Bugün sizlere Anamur kalesini, diğer bir adıyla Mamure kalesi diye bilinen kaleyi gezdireceğim.
I had the opportunity to visit this castle for the first time and I wanted to share it with you. More precisely, I can say that I am visiting a castle for the first time. This castle is a castle built entirely on ancient foundations. The whole of the castle is connected to each other, you can walk around the whole castle without descending to the ground by passing through the rooms and walls.
Bu kaleyi benimde ilk defa gezme fırsatım oldu ve sizinle paylaşmak istedim. Daha doğrusu ilk defa bi kale geziyorum diyebilirim. Bu kale tamamen antik temeller üzerine kurulu bir kaledir. Kalenin tamamı birbirine bağlantılı, odalardan ve surlardan geçerek yere inmeden bütün kaleyi dolaşabilirsiniz.
Karamanoğlu Mahmut Bey captured the castle with his army of 35,000 people in 1300-1308 and prospered considerably, therefore the name of the castle is known as Mamure Castle. The entire castle has an area of 20,000 square meters. The castle consists of 3 parts and has 39 towers.
Karamanoğlu Mahmut Bey 1300-1308 yıllarında 35.000 kişilik ordusuyla kaleyi eline geçirmiş ve önemli ölçüde mamur etmiş, bu nedenle kalenin adı Mamure Kalesi olarak anılmaktadır. Kalenin tamamı 20.000 metrekarelik bir alana sahiptir. Kale 3 bölümden oluşmaktadır ve 39 tane kulesi mevcuttur.
When Karamanoğlu Mahmut Bey captured the castle, they built a mosque inside the castle and a bath outside the castle. In the following years, the castle was repaired and new additions were made to the castle by the Ottomans.
Karamanoğlu Mahmut Bey'in kaleyi eline geçirdiği dönemde kalenin içine bir cami ve kale dışına bir hamam inşa etmişler. İlerleyen yıllarda kale tamir yani onarım görmüş ve Osmanlılar tarafından kaleye yeni eklentiler yapılmış.
The castle is quite beautiful and it might be because it was my first castle tour, but I really liked it. There are different walls inside the castle and different signs in the form of circles on the ground, I don't know what it is, but I guess it could be training places.
Kale oldukça güzel ve ilk kale gezim olduğundan da olabilir ama çok hoşuma gitti. Kalenin içerisinde farklı duvarlar ve toprakta çember şeklinde farklı işaretler var, ne olduğunu bende bilmiyorum ama tahminimce eğitim yerleri olabilir.
The whole area of the castle is covered with walls and they have built it very nicely. There are stairs to some parts of the castle, and they were built in such a way that only one person could pass. When you reach the top of the castle, the surroundings look quite perfect and the sea view is beautiful.
Kalenin bütün etrafı surlarla kaplı ve oldukça güzel inşa etmişler. Kalenin bazı bölümlerine merdivenlerden çıkılıyor ve tek kişi geçebilecek şekilde yapmışlar. Kalenin tam zirvesine çıkıldığında, etraf oldukça mükemmel gözüküyor ve deniz manzarası ayrı bir güzel.
There are small windows in the rooms inside the castle, the sea looks beautiful even if it is small. There are also wheat warehouses in the middle of the castle, they built small rooms next to each other, maybe I know it as a wheat warehouse, but whatever they did, they did it very well.
Kalenin içindeki odalarda küçük pençereler mevcut, küçükte olsa deniz güzel gözüküyor. Birde kalenin orta kısmında buğday ambarları mevcut, yan yana küçük odalar halinde de buğday ambarları inşa etmişler, belkide ben buğday ambarı olarak biliyorum ama ne olarak yaptılarsa oldukça iyi yapmışlar.
