People come and go in our lives. This is Stanley. He is my mentor. The man is a CPA for non- profits, and still practices at age 91. He believes in his causes and supports them through much of what he earns. Now I am challenged. Do I try to explain the cryptocurrency world to him? He will want to know why I have changed my investment strategies. How does one explain blockchain technology and relate it to accounting principles? How do I persuade him this isn't for criminals and money laundering? Or do I simply continue to follow his investing advice, and keep the crypto world to myself? He is crazy intelligent, yet when it comes to technology not-at-all up to speed. I have trouble explaining the blockchain technology, and what I see as huge impacts worldwide, to family members who are my age and education.
I guess I have to pick my battles.
