It wasn't the worst idea to include RFK Jr in the new administration plans, in whatever capacity that might be. He has the lofty goal of making America 'healthy again' and with millions of people suffering from 'incurable diseases' around the country it will be interesting to watch his attempt, and what might come of it.
Is it time to kick the vending machines out of hospitals?
Are we going to see more taxes on junk food?
Will some food items be banned altogether now like some controversial colored and sugar-loaded children's cereal?
He only has a few years to do it...
War on public health about to end?
Is the supposed war on public health about to come to an abrupt halt?
It has been suggested that he might look to root out corruption from organizations which many Americans have lost trust with but there's a big problem with that. If they fire 1, 2, 10, 15 people etc, how long is that going to keep them operating ideally for? It's hardly like he can ever promise corruption to be cleaned up forever from these tools of power. Despite people being fired the organization is still present which was allegedly vulnerable to corruption IN THE FIRST PLACE.
At the end of the day it is largely choices that can and have been known to impact the health of so many and the government isn't going to be standing in people's homes and workplaces making those choices for them. So ultimately how much impact on making people healthy again are we actually going to see?
