There is one last operational Blockbuster in the world today. That Blockbuster location is located in Oregon, at 211 NE Revere Ave, Bend and it is still going strong through virus times currently, while many businesses are suffering and facing permanent closure.

Who Still Has A DVD Player At Home?

Maybe for those people who are getting rentals, they are watching them on their computers, because many people probably don't still have a DVD player at home.

I used to spend too much money buying and renting from Blockbuster and other video stores. Growing up as a child that was an exciting night when it was movie night, snacks included and usually a homemade pizza or two. Memories.

Kids today will never know the same movie buying/renting experience, unless of course they pay a visit to the last Blockbuster in the world and take a trip down nostalgia lane.

The last standing Blockbuster in Oregon even managed to get a craft beer named after it. The beer was the collaboration from 10 Barrel Brewing and Blockbuster video, and it has been designed to be the perfect partner to some movie snacks.

If you want to have that movie rental experience, by getting a video from Blockbuster, then you may want to plan a trip to Oregon while you still have time left. But not while they are currently experiencing a lock down.

Will The Last Blockbuster Survive?

This Blockbuster location has recently introduced curbside pickup and they have been sanitizing the rentals thoroughly. Those who are working at the store are hoping that the coronavirus won't be the end of them. Hopefully they will see enough business to continue to stay in operation and keep the Blockbuster name alive.
