Some residents are wondering what the quality of the water might be like, among other issues, following a recent train disaster that took place in Ohio with a train dereailment.

It is alleged that the train derailment released potentially harmful and toxic chemicals into the environment and this has many concerned and asking questions now about the potential health impacts that could be linked.

Now it has been reported that people have returned to the area after officials suggested it was safe to do so.

"Air quality samples in the area of the wreckage and in nearby residential neighborhoods have consistently showed readings at points below safety screening levels for contaminants of concern. Based on this information, state and local health officials determined that it is now safe for community members to return to their residences,"

Despite giving the green light to come back there are still concerns with people in the area and some are also concerned about how the situation might have impacted animals in the area.

You can find some stories being shared from residents online detailing their perspective of what took place and their questions surrounding what has been going on since the event too.

Relating to the incident there are now multiple lawsuits that have been launched, including class action lawsuits.
