totally just : splinterlands IS the #1 winner and most succesful but splinterlands drives on dollar, not steem, STEEM is a business expense to them (where i live that spells tax-deductable ...) they are quite apt at doing business but that doesn't make them #1 moneymaker for steem in fact, all respect to the splinterlands team though, dont get me wrong :)
they KNOW how to make actual money, not hyperventilated coins lol

b/c of the hyperinflation the only way i see STEEM explode is into a cloud of dust particles where each has a worth of 1/googolplex in the end ... 7 billion people ... 1.5 trillion dollar (liquid circulation) ... 2300 officially recognized crypto currencies in the world , total value less than 300 billon ... mathematics say, like confucius would : not enough dollar to fill every hole , and all new currencies are either over numbered or hyper-inflated ...
math wins, cant beat the math, the numbers state value will disperse as the total number grows, if they print another trillion dollar right into circulation, then that value diminishes too

The trick will not be to have steem , steem will be worth crud unless they stop inflation and burn every single steempromille they ninjamined at the start (history doth lie sometimes but these are the facts, the liquid pool is the problem b/c thats waiting to sell of, and the hyperinflation in the middle of a global downtrend, combined with too many mc's and not enough mics mean just that)

doing business is not having steem and THAT

is why splinterlands is number one :D

i know everybody likes to hear how the south will rise again (proverbially) but like this it wont lol

splinterlands however, will ... they dont even need steem, its just very convenient (but im sure they're too sly and shiney to EVER say something like that) , and it IS an awfully nice piece of TEK/software ... UltiMatt might be a decent coder but i always had the feeling he's even a lot better at sales ...

popular opinion is what i do best ... but i dont know a single game in history that has items from the vanilla version sell for more than those from the latest expansion ...
