This documentary uncovers the truth behind the infamous "Magnitsky Act".
Directed by (anti-Putin) Russian filmmaker Andrei Nekrasov, this film exposes the lies of American Oligarch Bill Broader, a hedge fund investor and white collar criminal, who concocted a dramatic story about his accountant, whom he calls his "lawyer" Sergei Magnitsky, who died in a Russian prison, in order to cover his own white collar crimes and indecent dealings with unsavory individuals from the Russian underworld.
One of the saddest parts of this film is when the author shows a bunch of European politicians regurgitating Browder's lies, proving they swallowed Browder's lies hook, line and sinker, showing the world, in the process, how they don't even bother doing the slightest research into what they vote, sign, or even speak, eventually making huge fools of themselves.
Definitely recommended.
