Below is my precious little garden. Why is it precious? There are many reasons. I live in a small house in a big city so having a few houseplants helps me a lot. Actually, they are just potted plants in the back of my house. However, it is my favorite corner. This is where I choose when I drink coffee, read a book, take a break or just sit and do nothing.
It's an outdoor space between my house and my neighbor's house, with natural wind blowing through all the time. So it's where I chose to have some potted plants when I first moved here. And now it has become a favorite place not only for me but also for my wife and my dogs. In the summer, no matter how hot it is in the house, it is always cool here.
And especially, during the time I had to stay at home for many days under the government's "not leaving home" directive, I realized how precious it is. I find it very enjoyable to take the time to take care of and water the plants and it is also a kind of meditation. It further reinforced our plan to return to my homeland in the highlands of Vietnam to live in the future. Anyway, I must say that I am so grateful for this little garden and potted plants during this difficult time.
