This is a new rice field located in a village of the Xo Dang ethnic minority. I had the opportunity to go there on a beautiful afternoon. The rice has just been harvested, so there are only rice stalks left in the field. Young seedlings have sprouted from the rice roots, giving life to the old rice roots.
This rice field is surrounded by mountains and forests. This is understandable because the Xo Dang have a custom of living close to nature. The water in the field becomes a large mirror reflecting everything around, creating a poetic picture.
